I am currently in the process of editing a prequel short story to my debut novel. TORCHED FEATHERS is a story set about 200 years earlier than my novel, TARNISHED RELICS. Fledgling is timid, insecure, and apprehensive. She is also the next Kana, matriarch of the sky clan. At only eight summers, Fledgling feels the clan scrutinizing her every move.
