I am glad I changed my mind about entering it in competitions. Winning the awards proves to myself that my writing is decent. Some of you may be wondering why I doubt myself when the reviews for Tarnished Relics have been positive. If I'm honest, most of those reviews are from my ARC readers. And although ARC readers are not guaranteed to give four and five star reviews, I felt like they might be more prone to than the average person picking up the book. I doubted if they were "real" reviews. Did they really feel the words they wrote in their reviews?

I never should have doubted my readers! I submitted Tarnished Relics to three award competitions and have heard back from two (the results for the last one will be posted in November). Here are the accolades Tarnished Relics has received:
